Carla Verderame Mongillo

Carla (Verderame) Mongillo started out at The Hartford many years ago. She then went onto HR at a manufacturing company for many years. After raising her three children Carla joined the family business in 1999. Her knowledge of our customers and their needs is remarkable. She remembers everybody’s name as they walk through the door. Working with clients and maintaining their trust is her secret talent. Among many other tasks, Carla oversees the renewal process. Reviewing them daily to help save our clients from the pain of increased premiums.

Customers love to visit Carla not only to come pay their bill and talk about her parents, but she often has her famous pepper biscuits ready for a little snack. We won’t ruin her reputation by telling people the recipe was really made famous by her mom, Annamae (Panella) Verderame. Carla, also a Southington native, has three grown children and resides in Southington with her fiancé.
