Francis Verderame Jr.

Francis Verderame Jr started Southington Insurance in 1989 in a small 400 sq ft office above a hair salon. In the early days, it was just Fran and one part-time staff member. As the agency grew, so did its reputation for going the extra mile for its customers.

Over the next decade, the ability to quote the best price for the proper coverage only grew as larger insurance companies asked Fran to represent them. This allowed Southington Insurance to quickly obtain quotes not from just one or two companies, but from over 25 companies! His organized manner and work ethic has earned him the nickname our ‘Left-handed genius’.

Fran, a Southington native, resides in Southington along with his wife and three children.
